Creativity has been an integral part of my life for as long as I can recall, and I owe a special debt of gratitude to my mother, a trained artist, and my incredible father my unwavering champion. While the Australian norm often revolves around sports and football games on weekends, my upbringing was markedly different. I was nurtured in a world of art galleries, exhibitions, live performances, and live drawing classes. My days were filled with creating, crafting, sewing, dancing, listening to music—essentially, anything and everything creative.

 

After completing my Bachelor of Design in Visual Communications at UTS in Sydney, I ventured into the professional world as a freelance illustrator within a digital agency. My enduring passion for illustration and graphics eventually guided me into the dynamic realm of fast fashion, where I began crafting textile prints for a swimwear collection. This journey then led me to embrace a new role in the fast fashion and product development arena.

My evolving aesthetic leans towards whimsical, with a penchant for hand-painted details, fashion influence, on-trend color palettes, and finely detailed sketches. I'm a visual perfectionist, infusing my artistic touch into textiles, branding, typography, illustrations, graphics, and motifs.

 

This is where i have spend the majority of my career, working commercially and designing prints, graphics & textiles.  This journey has encompassed trend forecasting, technical drawings, technical packs, fabric repeats, placement prints, fabric variety, print techniques, offshore factory communication, print management, and involvement in product development and ranging & branding support.

Throughout my career, my work has reached a global audience, with retail presence in Australia, the Asia-Pacific region, the USA, the EU, and the UK.  You can find my designs showcased in renowned establishments such as Nordstrom, Selfridges, Saks on Fifth Avenue, John Lewis,  and locally in Australia  for Just Jeans, Myer, Lyla & Co, Big W, Best & Less, Lee Cooper, Rebel Sports, Crossroads, and Millers. My focus has primarily revolved around prints, graphics, and textiles and branding support.

Now, I embark on a new adventure, working from home with my trusty puppy assistants, Monty and office junior JJ. Join me on this exciting journey, and together, we'll create something extraordinary while meeting wonderful new people along the way.
